Eloy Vazquez is a 5'8" 145 pound 2006 outfielder and second baseman from Miami, Florida who attends St. Brendan High School. He has a lean athletic build with lots of room to grow. Eloy has very soft hands in the field. He fields the ball on the right side of his body and sets up ready to throw. He has good range with a quick first step. His arm is short in the back and his throws were accurate. At the plate, Vazquez is a line drive hitter who uses the whole field very well. He has a contact approach and has good bat control. Eloy has solid tools with potential at the next level who is also a very good student.
