Joe Haight is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Claudia Taylor Johnson HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Solid receiving skills behind the plate, moves well laterally and has good blocking ability for his age, has the beginnings of good arm strength from a long arm stroke that will need to be refined and shortened, 7.35 runner and probably athletic enough to play other positions well. Right handed hitter, open stance, short rotational line drive swing, will need to gain additional strength before hitting ability catches up with present defensive ability. Good student.
