Green is a 6-3, 195 lb right handed pitcher from Texas with a very athletic, projectable body. He has a full hands over head, high leg kick delivery and an over the top release point. Green's delivery doesn't look entirely natural and comfortable but he stays balanced and repeats it well. Green looked like he threw two different types of fastballs, a 4 seamer that was 83-84 mph and a 2 seamer that had strong tailing action at 81-82 mph. His best pitch was a downer breaking ball at 71-74 mph that was deep and sharp at times. Green goes with his curveball a lot and has plenty of confidence in it. We didn't see a change up. Green also impressed us with his overall athletic ability and the way he swung the bat in games. That bodes well for future improvement on the mound. We like Green's projection and his ability to throw 2 present solid pitches for strikes. He should continue to improve and be a solid pitcher at the next level. Green is also a very good student.
