Nicholas Vaage is a 2015 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Savage, MN who attends Prior Lake HS. Vaage has a large lean frame with room to fill out and add strength. As an outfielder he had good fielding actions with good footwork and good arm strength with carry. As a first baseman he showed good fielding actions with good footwork around the base. As a left handed pitcher he had clean-easy mechanics on the mound with good use of his lower half and a good curveball, curveball is his out pitch. As a left handed hitter he had a high leg kick load with low hands and got his hands through the ball well. Squared up the ball consistently with good pop in his bat and showed the ability to drive the ball the other way. Good Student.
