Davis Baty is a 2015 C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends St. Georges HS. Slender young build, beginnings of some strength. Nice catch/throw tools, quick feet behind the plate, good hands, quick transfers, has present arm strength, accurate throws with good footwork, 2.00 best pop time. Right handed hitter, big stride in with leg lift trigger, long swing with good extension out front, has some hand quickness, shortens up well in games when he needs to, sound hitting approach. Has the athleticism to keep improving. Good student.
