Daniel Midyett is a 2012 MIF/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Captain Shreve. Midyett has a medium athletic build. He is a switch-hitter at the plate, upright stance, quiet approach, leg lift trigger, compact swing with batspeed from both sides, hard contact from left side in games, good feel for hitting. He has soft hands in the infield, has lateral agility, good range to the glove side. He is a very good student.
