Pete DiResta is a 2008 OF from Mahopac HS, residing in Mahopac, New York, with a 6'1"/180 pound frame. Pete has a solid frame. He hits from a straight stance with a small stride and solid bat speed. DiResta has lift in his swing with a line drive swing plane. He is a gap to gap hitter with solid power, but he will pull off the ball at times. Pete runs well with a 6.98-60 yard time. He uses a crow hop in the outfield with long arm action at 78 mph and an accurate arm. He needs to work on getting better jumps on the ball to fully utilize his speed. DiResta is a good student.
