Nick Hendren is a 6-3, 205 lb junior outfielder from Wisconsin with a big frame and plus present strength. He had deliberate, balanced actions in the outfield and showed a strong, accurate arm. He's a 7.42 runner. Hendren is a rotational hitter at the plate with a long, powerful swing that generates pull power. Hendren centered the ball well and drove it hard to all fields while showing some bat head skills and good balance at the plate. He looks like a dangerous hitter, especially with metal in his hands. Hendren also pitched and his arm strength didn't translate directly to the mound. He topped out at 79 mph on his fastball with a 66 mph curveball. He pitched low in the strike zone and got some tail and sink on his fastball. Hendren is an excellent student.
