Christopher Hyndman is a 2006 right handed pitcher/catcher from Westview HS in San Diego, CA, with a 5'10", 190 lb. frame. He impressed us with one of the better deliveries of the weekend. He has a fluid and even tempo delivery from a 3/4 to high 3/4 arm slot. Hyndman has the ability to throw all of his pitches for strikes, and never gave in to the hitters staying aggressive throughout his outing. He has a very good demeanor and presence on the mound with feel for his release point. Hyndman kept the ball down in the zone and will need to mix up his pitches to keep the hitters aware that he is able to throw any of his pitches at any time. He is a solid, durable pitcher that should have good command of the strike zone. He will induce a great deal of groundballs and to rack up wins for his high school team, and should play at the next level.
