Brett Cooksey is a 2016 C/IF, 2B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Floyd Kellam. Medium, wiry build, and has a strong lower half. Ran a 7.72 60 yard dash. Shows quick catching actions and receives the ball well. Good arm strength and produces good pop times. Projects well as a defensive catcher. Bats right-handed, carries his hands high and has a wide base. Hits to the opposite field and has a line drive swing path. Good student.
