Spencer Johnson is a 2012 OF/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Parkview HS. Large athletic frame, lean build with lots of room to add strength. 6.74 runner, right handed hitter, high hand set, front foot down late, needs work on timing, patient game approach, short swing, lacks ideal extension out front, ball comes off the barrel well when squared, has strength at contact, will continue to improve with swing adjustments. Long windmill arm action in the outfield, left field arm strength, speed will give him good range. Good student.
