Tyler Mason is a 2013 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Union, KY who attends Ryle. Long athletic build with some present strength. Over the top arm slot, back turn windup to delivery, hides the ball through delivery. Works inside, effort to delivery, curveball flashed potential. Quick hands at the plate, pull approach, needs to iron out mechanics to get most out of hitting tools. Sets feet well defensively, decent hands, solid defensively at 1B. Good student.
