Brett Volger is a 2014 MIF/ with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends La Jolla. Volger has a medium sized frame with a solid build. He has good footwork defensively with solid actions. He is smooth on the infield and follows his throws well. Volger has some arm strength with carry on his throws. He has clean transfers and release. At the plate, Volger starts with a square stance and maintains balance through his swing. He has an aggressive approach and made hard contact in games. Volger has bat speed and gets extension in his swing. He has a good tool set to improve. Very good student.
