Joe Franchi is a 2013 C/1B, OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Southborough, MA who attends Algonquin Regional HS. Large projectable frame with a strong build. Has good feetwork from behind the plate, long arm action, has arm strength, has accuracy. Starts out with an upright stance at the plate, high hands, high back elbow, power approach, makes line drive contact, hits the ball to all fields, has bat speed, pop in his bat, makes hard contact, one if his hits in the game came off the bat at 88mph. Is an interesting prospect to follow. Is an excellent student.
