Chris Kalica is a 2011 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Albany, NY who attends Colonie Central. Kalica has a medium build, high 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, good arm speed, solid FB and curveball mix, curveball shows a good 11/5 spin and depth, clean mechanics, gets lots of ground balls, hits from an open stance strides to square, mid field approach, makes consistent contact, line drive swing plane, good extension out front, defensively, good infield actions, ball comes out well, fields ball out front, he is also an excellent student.
