Patrick Leonard is a 2011 SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends St. Thomas HS. Very nice athletic build, good present strength with more to come. Spread open stance, moves to ball through contact, very good bat speed, long pull swing, can whistle the bat head, good hand strength,smooth extension out front, serious power potential. 6.73 runner, playable actions at shortstop but more ideal at third base, has very good arm strength, long overhand release, on line throws, soft hands with side to side agility. Still projectable in all areas. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
