Joshua Lopez is a 2006 3B/MIF from Winter Springs HS in Florida with a 5'10", 155 lb. frame. Lopez has a great attitude and plays hard. He is the type of player any coach would love to have. Defensively he has very good actions with quick hands and feet, and shows plus body control on slow rollers. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with strong hands and a quick bat. He has a compact swing from a high hand set and has a line drive swing path. He is a contact hitter who drives the ball to all fields with surprising pop in his bat. He projects to be a top of the order hitter at the next level that will get on base and score runs. Lopez is fun to watch and needs to be followed. He is a good student as well.
