Joseph Ferrer: Ferrer is a smooth throwing left hander with very good pitching mechanics. He primarily pitches with his fastball/change up combination and does a very good job of repeating his delivery, release point and arm action on both pitches. Both his change and fastball get good running and sinking life as well. Ferrer’s fastball was in the 75-76 mph range and his change up 66-67 mph. He also mixed in an occasional 63 mph curveball. He's a crafty lefty who can win at the college level.
