Colton Price is a 2016 RHP/2B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Salado, TX who attends Faith West Academy. Tall and slender build, lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Works from the stretch, compact arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to lean off his head and upper body at release, some downhill plane. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight. Soft curveball with occasional downer depth. Right handed hitter, very still start from a straight leg stance, simple rotational swing, repeats his mechanics and makes consistent contact, hand generated swing. Good student.
