Kevin Collard is a 2015 OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Vista, CA who attends Rancho Buena Vista HS. Strong well proportioned build. Left handed hitter, very efficient and polished swing, excellent timer and ability to repeat his mechanics, short and quick to the ball, stays balanced and under control, hard line drive contact, handles the barrel well, can improve extension out front for better power in the future, as clean a swing as you will see at this level. Very good runner, 6.58 in the 60, accurate throws from the outfield, has the tools to play centerfield at a high level. Excellent student, verbal commitment to San Diego.
