2006 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Arman Moniri is a 2007 1B/3B from James Madison HS in Vienna, VA with a 6'0", 210 lb. Arman is a big kid that shows good pop at the plate. He has a pull approach at the plate and shows good pop when his timing is on. Arman will be a more consistent hitter when he learns to keep his weight back longer and drive the ball to all fields. In the field Arman moves well for his size and has a good feel around the bag. First base looks to be the only real position where Arman could play at the next level. At this point Arman looks like a smaller college type recruit.
