Stephen Triolo is a 2007 RHP/1B with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from San Diego, CA, who attends Patrick Henry HS. Large frame with present strength and a durable lower half. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed. Triolo has an online and balanced delivery with good mechanics. His fastball topped out at 88 mph while working in the 85-88 mph range. Triolo throws a heavy ball and gets good movement on his fastball. He also mixes in a good curveball with depth, and a 77 mph change up with arm side fade and sink. He has very good stuff on the mound, and mixes his pitches well. Triolo mixes his pitches and gets ahead in the count. Great upside on the mound. At the plate he takes an aggressive swing and has good bat speed. Triolo has strength in his bat and hits the ball with power. Should be a middle of the order hitter. Triolo is a two-way prospect at the next level, but has great upside on the mound. He is a must follow, and is a good student as well.
