Mitch Levine is a 2006 MIF/OF/C from Magruder HS in Rockville, MD, with a 5'9", 183 lb. frame. He has good present strength with good speed and quickness. He ran a 6.78-sixty and showed good first step quickness on the bases and in the field. Defensively he has good actions in the middle of the diamond with good footwork and hands. His arm strength is solid at 81 mph, and his throws were accurate. At the plate he is a switch hitter with very good bat speed from both sides. He might have some more power from the right side, but he has an advanced approach from either side. Levine uses the whole field and will drive balls to the opposite field, and has good bat control. He profiles as a top of the order hitter at the next level who will get on base and score runs. He plays the game hard and hustles at all times. He is a must follow, and is a good student as well.
