D J Harbeson is a 2007 2B/SS with a 5'8'', 170 lb. frame from Templeton ,CA, who attends Templeton HS. Harbeson has a strong and athletic frame with good life. He has good speed and he plays faster than his sixty time might suggest. He hustles all the time and is a very hard worker. Defensively he has very smooth feet with soft hands and good actions. Harbeson has a very short arm action, but is quick and very accurate with his throws. During game action he made all the plays and showed good range, especially to his hand side. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away and crouched stance. He has a nice approach at the plate and is very patient. Harbeson has good hands staying inside the ball with a nice line drive swing plane. He stays balanced through his short and compact swing and hits line drives to all fields. He is a table setter with gap to gap power. Harbeson is a player you want on your team.
