Kevin Kopps is a 2015 3B/MIF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends George Ranch HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. Simple polished swing approach, limited but well timed shift into contact, quick hands with a good path to the ball, has deceptive pull power for his size, squares the ball up. 7.18 runner, quick hands and release in the infield, shows body control, soft hands, second base tools and actions. Also pitched, polished easy delivery, lots of sink on an 80 mph fastball, big breaking curveball, threw strikes and had a quick inning. Very polished young player with high level of skills. Very good student.
