Owen Grant is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Grant has a smaller frame with a lean build. He has developing actions in the outfield with quick feet to the ball. Grant has a short arm action on his throws in the outfield with some arm strength. He's a good runner at 6.88 and a quick first step on the base paths. At the plate, Grant starts with an open stance and uses a toe tap trigger to start his swing. He makes consistent contact with developing bat speed. He has a pull side approach and attacks the ball. Grant pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action and tight release. He throws a 10/4 curveball for strikes. Excellent student.
