Andrew Lightfoot is a 2013 RHP/C with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Cinco Ranch HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Simple leg raise delivery, short closed stride, over the top release point, throws downhill. Upper 70's fastball, topped at 79 mph, mostly straight, soft 12/6 downer curveball, threw mostly fastballs, needs to mix and change speeds more. Right handed hitter, very spread stance, no stride, low hands, still start, swings hard, spray line drive contact to all fields, flashes bat speed and lift when not late to ball, needs better load/rhythm to ball to improve. Shows some arm strength behind the plate, accurate throws, two-piece release slows pop times. Good student.
