Michael Doody is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Coventry, CT who attends East Catholic. Medium, lean frame with broad shoulders and room to fill out. Ran a 7.51 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves feet well and attacks the ball. Has some present arm strength with more to come, with carry and accuracy on throws.. Works through the ball and tools project for centerfield. Right handed pitcher who throws from a three quarter arm slot with loose arm action in back. Collects himself and repeats delivery well, staying low in the zone with fastball which topped 75 mph and flashed arm side run. Feel for curveball with 11/5 shape at 59 mph. Right handed batter who works from a wide stance with knees bent and toe tap trigger. Shows some bat speed with lift in swing and makes line drive contact. Very good student.
