2007 West Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Adam Fessinger is a 2008 C with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Santa Clarita, CA who attends Valencia HS. He has a lean and athletic body type that will continue to fill out and get stronger in the coming years. Fessinger is going to be a nice college player. He has some physical upside and showed good ability behind the plate. Offensively he is a line drive contact hitter with a nice middle/opposite field approach. His hands have some life and his swing has some whip. When he gets stronger his bat just might start to emerge more. Defensively he sits well in the crouch and presents a nice target to throw to. Fessinger has agility and it showed in his blocking and his ability to get off nice backpicks. His sort of slings the ball but has some arm strength. His hands are workable. Given some time and with good coaching, Fessinger has a chance to be a solid college player.
