2006 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Isaac Alves is a 2007 1B with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Warwick, RI who attends Bishop Hendricken HS. Isaac has an athletic build and plays for one of the top high school programs in the Northeast. At the plate Isaac has good strength and is short to the ball. He can turn on the ball easily and showed nice pull power at the showcase. In the field Isaac has soft hands and a good feel for how to play first base. He is a strong student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
