Jonathan Tauzin is a 2013 C/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Travis HS. Medium build, good present strength. Good raw arm strength, on line footwork, tends to stand up to throw, sweeps at ball, 1.92 best pop time, looked like he had the tools to play third base in infield drills, arm strength showed well. Right handed hitter, straight stance with high hand set, aggressive hitter, drifts in and gets to front side, loose swing, creates some bat speed, best contact right centerfield, will get too far out front at times. Good student.
