Mollicone is a sturdy, strong catcher with a very good arm. He's a solid receiver who moves very well behind the plate. His throws have good velocity, good carry and good accuracy. He popped 1.9 in the workout and looked even better in the games. He threw out some runners with real quick throws on the money. He's also a good hitter. He stays back and he can hit hard line drives to all fields. He projects to hit with power at the next level. The only thing Mollicone doesn't do well is run and he still runs the bases very intelligently. He's a very interesting catching prospect. You might be hearing his name a lot in the future.
