Grant Harrison is a 2006 LHP/OF/1B from Hunterdon Central HS in Whitehouse Station, NJ, with a 6'3", 195 lb. frame. Harrison has a good pitcher's body with long arms and projectable strength. On the mound he has a balanced delivery with good arm speed from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball topped out at 77 with some late life, and it is easy to think he will throw harder in the near future. Harrison also mixed in a sharp breaking curve ball at 69 mph. He allowed only 1 hit during his 3 innings of work in the showcase games, while striking out 4. Offensively he is a left handed hitter with a slight gather from a good base. He shows some present strength in his swing with raw power, and performed well in batting practice. During the games he was a dead pull hitter and opened up his front side. In the outfield he has good arm speed with an accurate arm and can play any of the outfield spots.
