Rob Tammaro is a 2015 2B/IF, RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Smithtown, NY who attends Smithtown West. Medium frame, compact build. Balanced upright setup in the box, uses opposite field well, slightly closed setup, quick hands, line drive swing plane, consistent hard contact with opposite field oriented approach, solid bat speed with potential to develop hitting tools. Good carry on throws, short arm action and quick release time, good actions overall, showed well defensively in games. Pitches from a high three quarter slot with a short arm action, low effort online delivery, pitches downhill, sound mechanics, 11-5 curveball. Good student.
