Francisco Chaparro is a RHP with a 6-3 230 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL. Big strong physical build. 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action, arm works well, good arm speed, opens early in windup and lands very open, can use big lower half better in creating velocity. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, good downill plane but mostly straight with occasional running action. Curveball has sharp downer action and tight spin, shows good feel for curveball and throws for strikes, proper velocity on change up with some run as well. Big bodied 19 year old with the makings of three solid pitches and the ability to throw strikes.
