Blanco is a 6-2, 175 lb senior infielder from Miami. Blanco has a nice tall lean baseball body. Blanco is listed as a first baseman but played shortstop and profiles best at third base. Blanco has good arm strength as he threw 81 mph from 1B. Defensively, Blanco moves well and is sure handed. Blanco was really impressive defensively at this showcase as he made every play. At the plate, Blanco swings from the right side and starts from a tall stance. Blanco swings with nice balance and drives through the ball well with good whip in his swing. Blanco showed the ability to turn on the inside pitch well. Blanco is projectable and had a very good showcase.
