LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2005 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Lee is a 5-11, 170 lb senior infielder from Virginia with a medium build. Lee ran the 60 in 7.71 and threw 77 during infield drills and 80 during outfield drills. He played all over the field during the showcase games, including pitching, and showed some ability as a utility player. Lee's best defensive tool is his arm strength, along with his veratility. Offensively, Lee shows good hand/eye coordination with the bat head and makes consistent contact. His swing tends to be long frequently and he will need to gain strength to be able to drive the ball consistently. As a pitcher, Lee threw 77-78 mph along with both curveball and a slider. Lee is a hustling player who showed leadership ability on the field and on the bench and loves to play the game. The Perfect Game coaching staff singled him out for his top level makeup after the event. Lee is a good student.
