Tyler Schrimpf is a 2016 2B/SS, OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Miller Place, NY who attends Miller Place HS. Young look. Sm Medium frame with a lean athletic build. A right handed hitter with a compact swing. Stays short to the ball and has a middle of the field contact approach. Used the whole field during BP and will go to the opposite field. On defense he showed solid hands and good actions, has a quick clean transfer and does a good job of getting rid of the ball. Ran a 7.49 60 yard dash but plays much faster in game as he clocked a 4.57 home to first time. Will be fun to watch him mature. Good student.
