Evan Trausch is a 2016 SS/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Large frame, slender high waisted build with room to fill and strength projection. Simple balance swing with solid bat speed and good barrel control, contact approach that relies heavily on hands, can develop power with increased strength and use of lower half in swing. Pitches from a three quarters arm slot with a long arm action, good command of fastball, 12-6 curveball with depth. Excellent student.
