Eric Knox is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Guyton, GA who attends Effingham County HS. Long, loose and athletic build, excellent projection. Bent knee stance, easy low tension swing, limited trigger/flow but still generates bat speed with quick hands, drives the LCF gap, long at times, swing/approach resembles Mark McGwire. Solid outfield arm strength, low release creates tail, runs very well for size. Also pitched, fast paced leg raise delivery, front side collapses out front, fastball to 86 mph. Plays hard, hustling type player. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
