Eric Johnson is a 2013 OF/C with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Stafford, TX who attends Dulles HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, very open stance, aggressive swing with some bat speed, long and strong swing, attacks the ball, shows power to both gaps, squares the ball up hard, not a classic swing mechanically but very effective and consistent. Fast out of box, 6.95 runner, aggressive baserunner. Less polished defensively, can improve footwork and throwing actions in the outfield, athleticism works well to the ball, raw skills behind the plate with good arm strength. Very interesting athlete who could keep improving with fundamental work. Good student.
