Lucas Egan is a 2008 OF with a 5'9'', 135 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Cape Coral. He has a very lean build with lots of room to fill out. Lucas has a level swing plane and gets solid extension in his swing. He keeps his hands back very well which allows him to go to the opposite field with ease. At the same time he has the hand quickness to turn on inside pitches very well. In the field, Egan has very clean actions and a strong accurate outfield arm. He threw 75 mph during the workout with good carry on his throws. Lucas is a good athlete who is also an outstanding student.
