William Henley is a 2006 C/1B/3B from Westminster Christian in Miami, FL, with a 5'10'', 190 lb. frame. Henley has broad shoulders with present strength. Behind the plate he has a quick transfer that helps produce pop times under 2.00, with a best pop time of 1.93. To go along with his quick transfers, Henley has a strong arm with online carry. He also receives well, and has nice footwork blocking balls to each side. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a no stride approach from a high hand set. Henley loads his hands well, and has a line drive swing plane. He makes consistent contact with strength in his swing. Henley produces good bat speed that which combines with his strength to generate raw power in his bat. Henley is a durable catcher who will be able to hit. He is also an excellent student.
