Lance Larimer is a 2005 left handed hitting middle infielder from Gainesville, FL. He plays much faster than his 7.3-60 time, showing good speed on the bases and consistent good range in the field in workouts and in games. Larimer has the hands and feet to play the middle infield, but right now his arm strength is a bit short and his throwing fundamentals are raw. At the plate, Larimer hits from an open stance with a balanced line drive swing that’s oriented to the left side of the field. He showed the ability to make consistent good contact with wood and has a calm, patient approach in the batter’s box. He's athletic, he can run and he will hit. Lance is a very good student.
