Sims is a 5-10 junior outfielder from Florida with some present strength and good running speed that he uses aggressively on the field. Sims strength enables him to hit the ball hard when he gets it centered on the wood bat. He’s a mechanically raw hitter who could make significant quick improvement with some good hitting instruction. Defensively, Sims covers plenty of ground in the outfield and showed some arm strength both during drills and during the games. He could end up being very good at the next level. He is a good student.
