Eddie Krupa is a 2006 RHP/SS from Homer Glen, Illinois, with a medium build at 5'11", 185 pounds. He pitches with a 3/4 arm slot, has a short extension in back, and he hides the ball from hitters. He shows an excellent arm action with a quick smooth arm, and he pitches in-line. He gets some arm side run on his fastball at 81-82 mph. He also throws a sharp 11-5 curveball with 65 mph velocity, and a change that shows good sink at times. He has good command of all 3 pitches and really knows how to pitch. Offensively, he is a line drive hitter with a strong upper body swing. He keeps his hands in, and goes with the pitch well. He runs with average speed, but he is a very smart base runner. He showed excellent range and made a great diving catch during a showcase game. He has quick reactions and a solid glove. Eddie has great potential to be a big time college prospect.
