Samuel Broome is a 2014 2B/OF with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Denver, IA who attends Waverly-Shell Rock HS. Shorter build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, exaggerated open stance with a late close, crouched stance, busy load, lots going on pre-swing, aggressive swing with some hand quickness and strength, uppercut swing plane, has some bat speed and ball comes off the barrel well, tends to reach for balls on the outside half. 7.29 runner, moves to the ball well, quick feet, developing hand softness and hand/glove exchange. Good student.
