Miguel Ferrer is a FA RHP with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Gasquay Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic who attends General Bautista Vocational. He has a long and wirey frame and looks taller than listed. Ferrer throws from drop and drive delivery with a long and loose arm action with some stabbing action in the back. His arm is fairly loose and he has some effort on release. Ferrer's fastball touched 90 mph and was consistently in the upper 80's. He got occasional sinking action on the fastball and maintained a downhill angle to the plate. Ferrer's curveball was big and soft in the upper 60's and he didn't have much present feel for the pitch. Ferrer's long loose arm gives him some velocity projection but he'll have to work on improving his off speed stuff.
