Christopher Beltran is a 2009 RHP/OF with a 5'10'', 135 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends El Dorado. Beltran is a very slender and athletic player with good loose actions and room to add size to his frame. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot and his fastball was up to 80 mph. He also throws a 10-4 curveball that flashes sharp and is still developing and should be solid pitch in the future. In the outfield he takes himself to the ball well and showed some good arm strength with a top velocity of 82 mph. He has usable speed as a 7.15 runner, and has good instincts on the bases. He hits from a medium base and has a solid contact approach. He will look to pull the ball on the inner half of the plate, and his hands work inside. Christopher is also a very good student.
