Cory Casuso is a 2008 RHP with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Miami, Florida, who attends Gulliver Prep HS. Cory has an athletic build and plays for one of the top high school programs in the country. On the mound Cory throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a simple easy delivery. Cory will make hitters put the ball in play with a fastball that has nice tailing action. His best off-speed pitch is a curveball with nice spin and depth. At the plate Cory centers the ball well with a line-drive swing plane. He has good balance in his swing but will occasionally roll over some balls. Cory is a player that will attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
